Have seen better in my lifetime !!!!!
General information: There are other hotels in the neighbourhood which seemed better. Wi-FI reception was excellent and free. Not sue if I will ever stay there again, certainly not in the Summer x Location and surroundings: Good location close to Salzburg's train station. Leafy area. A bit far from the city center and from the old city. Small shopping mall next to the train station apwith a few eating places. Service: NO room service, no shampoo or towels in the bathroom. Had to wait for more than 30 minutes to get towels. Had to walk to the nearest Billa to buy shampoo.....No kettle/coffee/tea/fridge in the room. Some of the staff members were unfriendly and plain rude. The man on duty on Sat the 8/8 at the reception was nice, letting me stay an extra hour in the room, the lady on duty on Sat afternoon was also friendly and polite. The other receptionist on duty for the rest of my stay shouldn't be allowed to work there. And keeping the best for last, the man in the kitchen/dining-room looked like he came straight out of Alcatraz !!!!! Dining: No bar or restaurant. Breakfast was ok with cereals, fruits, cheeses, breads, yogurts and cold meats + coffee/tea/juice but no egg, bacon, sausage etc... Room: Bedroom windows do not open and there is NO AIR CONDITIONING. The temperature was 38 degrees and I nearly died from suffocation. Not even a fan available. The reception was hot, the dining area was hot and of course the bedroom and bathroom extremely hot : very unhealthy xx Useful tips: Late check-out by male receptionist allowed by an hour.

room was really large and comfortable, nice location..walkable to city center and railway station. There are Indian restaurants in walkable distance
I hadnt explicitely stated as 3 people and had booked a double room for me, my wife and my son who is 5 yrs old. but the reception guy didnt like it and he wanted explicit mention of it.

The place where the hotel is located is very good. Its just a few mtrs away from the Salzach river bed and parks. The main train station is just 100 mtrs away. The location of the hotel is such tht u can make it to the city centre by foot. The ambience of the Hotel is good, and also the staff. Its pretty clean, neat and tidy, well suited for the family types.
Breakfast was not so good, the best I can suggest to people going over there...Don`t book for bfast, there are many choices to eat just 50-100 mtrs away from the hotel.

Cosy atmosphere
There was a very loud group of school kids staying in the hotel at the same time. The breakfast room looked like after a hurricane when we went down for breakfast. No clean tables, not much food, eventhough there was still an hour of breakfast time left. So a bid minus for the staff for not cleaning up for the other hotel guests.

It completely closed down from Sunday noon, making it impossible for us to keep luggage. This was not known to us when we booked.

Breakfast wass really good.and the hotel is nearby Salzburg central Railway Station. (Haupthbahnhof)
I reach Salzburg @12:45am and this late arrival time was conveyed to the lady well in advance ,the entrance to hotel was locked, for late comer so they ask to call on one Ph.no., After calling the lady says, "Its not my duty, you should come tomorrow morning, and besides you paid by credit card on internet which is still not credited(crazy language),so I will not allow you in my hotel.Get lost." In reply all I was shocked and could say was, I will have to call police, but later the Crazy lady showed me the way for key n finally I entered the hotel. If you guyz want avoid such Hassles kindly refrain from booking this hotel.

It's a relative good choice (price/value) for a night stay after a whole day city tour. The main railway station is very close, the hotel lies in a good surrounding area, very close to the river, and the downtown is accessible with a pleasant walk along the river.
The corridor was a bit smelly, and the breakfast could have been more variety. I think it's rather a 2 star hotel and not a 3 star hotel. A folyosón kicsit büdös volt, de a szoba rendben volt. Tiszta, nyugis. A reggeli azonban lehetett volna változatosabb, messze van egy 3 csillagos hotelétől.

The location of the hotel is very good and the breakfast also
At our arrival, the lady at the front desk told us that she forgot to reservate our room :), but the problem was solved because they had available rooms. The walls of our room were filthy.
